Great campsites . Very quiet and peaceful . First come first serve sites at a very cheap price. No hookups or power but they have bathrooms on site with real toilets and running water that were very clean. The camp hosts were very nice and informative .This loop D isn’t too far from the reservoir / dam which made for great and easy accessible fishing . They also offer running fresh (drinkable water ) at designated locations. As well as a prettty big sand pit for the kids or adults . (Pickle ball, horse shoes , volley ball , sandcastles, etc) The only down side I would say is our campsite specifically (D21) had the smell of a dead animal or super rotten garbage or near our site the whole stay . We tried to find it but couldn’t so that was the only part that I said wasn’t too great was having that awful smell near the whole weekend. But I highly recommend checking this site out very fun & great location .

Nice place, peaceful! Camp host was nice. The downside - about 30 - 45 mins dirt road. The camp area has paved road and flush toilet. We were at camp D.

Currant Creek...beautiful AREA as usual. The Camping experience is what you make it & in that respect - we had fun! Campground- Rocky slanted ground- hard to locate a good spot for tent. Nice to have flushing toilets and running COLD water- HOWEVER...bathrooms NOT CLEAN! Campground hostess working SOLO-with upcoming July 4th weekend??? AND IT SHOWS WITH LACK OF ATTENTION TO OVERFLOWING GARBAGE CAN IN Ladies RESTROOM and dispenser OUT OF TOILET PAPER**(They really need to put a garbage can in Men's room also.) I don't expect a 5-Star "White-glove " situation- but come on Parks Department!! Have adequate personnel to take care of what you have available to the public.
