We've probably visited this campground ten times in the past year and we absolutely love it! Great and exciting walk to the falls, dispersed sites that are some of the best you'll ever find, the campground is kept clean, and it's located in a convenient yet secluded area. There are both nearby trails into the wild and also more accessible and fun places to fish and climb through the creek! Can't say enough good: if you actually love being in nature and some peace and quiet, this is an ideal destination!

Super small, but clean campground. Yes, you can generally get a camper here, but my 26' trailer was about all that would fit in the largest of their sites. The creek offers a nice retreat during the warm summer days. Others have mentioned a smell from the vault toilets, but I did not notice it when I was there. The sites are small and not spaced too graciously, so be a good neighbor and observe the quiet hours. Interestingly enough there was a good rain storm come through when we were up there that caused several trees to fall across the access road both north and south of the campground. I pulled one of them out of the way. The other was too large and made for a very precarious departure while towing my camper.

Nice little camp spot with clean pit toilets. Be bear aware. Pick up after yourself. Be aware when making reservations that many sites are hike in or one car to park several feet away from the site. Rv sites are close together and parking lot set up. We were there at the very end of the winter season right before they closed for winter. The camp host left before the season was over and the reservation signs were not updated.

Loved this campground. The location is great. The creek is wonderful, and the campground host, Beth is awesome. She took good care of us and answered all of our questions. She was a pleasure to speak with. Nearby are beautiful hiking trails, the Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls and if you need civilization, the towns of Old Fort and Black Mountain are short drives away. We highly recommend this campground.

Pretty little campground along Curtis Creek. Plenty of trails to walk. The campground is secluded and quite. There is a friendly host that takes care of any problems. A terrific place to relax and get away from the rat race
