Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. For this visit I chose a basic cabin and provided my own bedding. I have used KOA cabins several times and prefer them when I don't need all the "extras." The cabin was clean and conveniently located near a shower facility and bathroom. The park was well maintained, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The location was only 30 minutes from Mount Rushmore. Close enough for convenience, far enough for a slightly better price point compared to being closer to Mount Rushmore. For me, it was a good place to rest after a day of traveling and sight seeing.

Very nice place to spend some time or use as a kickoff to the many places to visit in the area. Facilities are clean and well cared for and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are also very accommodating and actually deliver your firewood! They also make sure you know where you are going and make great suggestions to tour the area. Even brought out a tape measure so we could make sure our Solis would fit through Needles! Thank you!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Sites are nice, mostly seem shaded as well. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Has a dish washing station and potable water to refill bottles. Super friendly staff, they even came over and went over a map of the area and because of them we were able to score scenic tours at the nearby Jewel Cave. The location is fantastic. Grounds are well maintained. Has plenty to do to help keep our 7 year old occupied.

Great location and very clean and tidy. Beautiful outdoor areas near the camp store woth a large fire pit, pergola and all sorts of comfy chairs. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Campsites were very well cared for, and we had a patio campsite that was exceptional. I'd recommend staying here......great campground and great location to everything you want to see.

Beautiful campground in a beautiful area. Staff very nice, although chatty, at check-in. Probably could speed it up a bit or note that we're seasoned travelers, not rookies. Loved the on-site cafe after a long day's drive. Dog area was awesome - clean and maintained. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the sewer placement. Too far back!! Makes it very difficult to hook up. Will probably be back!
