Probably the best Scout camp that I have ever been to. Plenty of hiking, there are three main hiking trails, the small one has stations every so often that are filled with all kinds of stuffed animals, birds, insects and rocks. There are three Lakes for fishing, there are multiple species of fish that can be caught. Human foosball and GaGa ball are always a hit. The campsites are all great with fire pits and flagpoles. Campsites have outhouses with water. There are flushable toilets and showers on property also. The cabins give the scouts that at Camp feeling with bunk beds and dining Halls. Some of the cabins even have indoor plumbing. BB gun and archery are always a blast. And the best Memory Maker is of course the horseback riding. This Camp is second to none. I am lucky enough that I only have to drive 45 minutes to get to this gem, but I would definitely still go even if it took over 5 hours to get there.
The Elliot Family camp is a great place to spend a weekend or a week with family and your camper, trailer or motor home. Great fishing, hiking, camping!
Went here many times as a child. Loved it. Wish I could go back as an adult and go fishing. Caught my first pike or muskie there right after they were added. Good times.
Been here several times this year for Cub Scouts. The kids love it and are always sad when we leave. I just wish the fire wood was cheaper.
Attended summer camp here as a Scout and brought Cub Scouts here as a leader. Learned to lead, teach leadership, and have a lot of fun doing it in this iconic venue.
