Its 30 min off the 17 so more of a hike to get here. Honestly never would have gone because its so far but this was the nearest camp ground with space on a Friday afternoon. The hosts are wonderful and with the exception of my brother using the bathroom right after soemone else blew it up they were clean and pleasant enough for a toilet over a hole in the ground. It was quite expensive at $27 a night but wouldn't mind coming again again as a backup place. Only got 1 pic this trip but look at this little chipmunk!

This campground is a little off the beaten trail. It had plenty of room and was very well maintained. The hosts, Alva and Doug, were fantastic. They kept everything orderly without being in your business all the time. There are a couple of hiking trails right out of the campground and many more a short walk or drive away. Very poor cell coverage so get ready for some peace and quiet.

Space #2. We booked this reservation because it was the only thing that it was available for the weekend that we wanted to go. I was a little reluctant but to my surprise it was the perfect spot for a family. The camp host Doug was the sweetest lovely gentleman and he told us he was sad we were leaving because we were family that made my heart smile. The bathrooms were the cleanest that I've ever experienced in all my years of camping. We will definitely be making reservations again.

This campground is great. There are a lot of mature trees providing shade. Minimal to no cell signal, which was fine by me since I like to disconnect while camping. The camp hosts were great. They would do multiple rounds throughout the day, checking in on campers (un-obtrusively), keeping the vault toilets stocked and cleaned, and just being present in case they were needed. There are also a couple of hiking trails right off the campsite, which is great. We will likely find ourselves camping here again.
