We spent the weekend here and absolutely loved our stay!! Everyone was soo nice and this place is just the perfect getaway. We ate four times at their diner, and everything was so yummy! We went. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The portions are huge! My kids even mentioned how we need to come back here, just to eat their ham and cheese sandwich. We also did their 2 hour snowmobiling ride, which was the highlight of everyone’s trip, the views were stunning and everyone there was really nice and made sure we were all comfortable (it was all our first time snowmobiling and we had two kids with us, ages 9 & 10)
Just passing through and made a quick stop should have taken pictures inside the general store but it was beautiful! They have a bunch of wild huckleberry products and I ended up choosing to get the chocolate bar. It does not disappoint! We all loved it and some of them don't even like chocolate it's a me thing!! Amazing and highly recommend 👌
An amazing authentic post and beam lodge located right on Route 40. And a gateway to the incredible high altitude Meadows of Utah’s backcountry. So beautiful! Has nice high elevation Which holds snow early and late. Even a great restaurant with big portions. This is first class operation was great management and attitude. I know that in the hotel business attitude is everything and this place exceeds the motto. I’ve been here three or four times now and it’s just A1 all the time,….. definitely worth the price and a great value in the High mountains.
We have stayed at Daniel's summit several times. The comfortable rooms and the mountain setting always make us feel welcome, but the friendly and attentive staff send it over the top. They have plenty of things to do on site and Kissandra, who was running the front desk, noticed my little ones and went above and beyond to make sure they had games to play and were comfortable. Rachel and the young ladies at the gift shop made us feel right at home as they talked with us. Also the gift shop is always well stocked and the native decor is clearly handmade and great pride was taken by the artist. We love it there
We rented snowmobiles & helmets. $450 for 2 hours & the helmet they provided had a double lens & crack between the lenses that it fogged between the lenses & I couldn’t do anything to fix it. The wind was blowing that I couldn’t see with my visor open & rode blind with it closed. I told employees when we came back & before I could finish my sentence to say I couldn’t see they laughed & said it for me. And I watched them put the same helmet back on the shelf for the next person. This is the only negative review I have ever left. But if I come back & say your equipment puts people in danger & you put it back on the shelf…. I have a problem with that. So for future laws suits because you refuse to provide safe equipment… my review stands. I get it id you don’t know your don’t know. But to put it back on the shelf For the next person…. You suck!!!! You fail!!! Riding blind is bullshit.
