Spots are nice, some are pretty close to others. Well maintained out toilets. Running water in multiple spots. Clean clear creek. Darnell fire burn scar surrounding on the sides so not much to hike do immediately outside campground.
Been coming here for years! Camp sites 23-24 are the best. Kind of secluded from the rest and amazing views.
This place is so wonderful! Historic and yet modern, the camp sites offer scenic views and most have hook-ups. 4th of July is always a blast with the horse shoe tournament and live music at night. Owners/operators Jim and Loralynn are wonderful people and work hard to provide a great family campground experience.
Beautiful campsite and not too busy on weekdays. Plenty to do in the area, would recommend staying here over other campsites in the area.
I've been coming to the campground for about 10 years. But since the fires, the sceneries have been disappointing 😞 but they will return to their glory soon. Unfortunately, the store that was across the street for some many years is closed and not sure if it's coming back, so bring all you need. Still a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing campground.
