Nice area, visitor center and programs. The park isn't huge, but there are so many things in the vicinity to see and do. Very convenient to shopping if supplies are needed or city experiences..restaurants, etc. No wifi, but good signal and radio/TV reception. Far from main road, relative quiet.

Beautiful campground. Beautiful park! Large and scenic with abundant wildlife. The camping spots are small and close together. Regarding the campground, I would also say that the Ranger on duty when we came in was really rude. Not what we’re used to when traveling! Regarding the broader park, the visitor center is definitely worth going to… Saw a great movie about the formation of the park and the islands… Rangers, there were incredibly helpful and informative. Give us great information on where we could see alligators and birds. Gave it four stars instead of five because of the difficulty getting into the small camping spots. This park is definitely worth a stop.

What a fantastic place to stay! The sites are spaced out nicely, and the campground is very quiet, with great shower and bathroom facilities. The camp host checked on me daily to make sure I was enjoying my stay and would chat for a bit. The park Rangers were very nice, and check-in was easy. The price for a night was well below any other park in the immediate area.

Nice campground but sites are fairly small. Not an issue for our 26 feet long motorhome but saw big class A and large trailers having issues trying to park. We stayed there for 6 nights, price quite decent but with electricity and water, not full hook up. There is only one dump station but it is not a big campground. Washrooms/Showers block is old but clean with hot water. Ranger and camp host were friendly and the place is quiet but there were so many folks coming just to “tour” the campground in their car. They come and drive the two loops but don’t have any sites and I would have liked that access is restricted to campers only. Using a tag for campers to access and some monitoring would have been good. Never felt unsafe but always concerned when anyone can access freely any sites while your away. This campground is closed to the National Seashore Visitors Centre (25 min walk/10min bike ride) and there is a nice platform to observe alligators and turtles and a nature trail. There is a bike path to visit Ocean Springs downtown and beachfront which is cool as it goes through local streets and not busy boulevards. Can also bike to a Starbuck/grocery in about 10 mins! I am not giving 5 stars b/c of the traffic of unwanted “visitors” but overall a nice place.
