Seemed friendly on the phone but wanted to charge me a membership fee for something I might never go to again at the end of the camping season. Plus charge at ridiculous amount for just tent camping all because their version of an "event weekend" is one of the owners birthdays. Then text my husband the next day saying that they had cancellations but it was too late for us. Especially after the guy got sarcastically rude with him when he declined the offer. After talking to several other people who have stayed there the rudeness they showed my husband isn't anything new with them. Wont be using them. Typical queens playing kings of the castle. Ask around others who stay there to confirm whether you want rudeness and high prices or not. And no we weren't looking for a special rate. We just don't consider a birthday a reason to jack up prices and ain't paying a membership fee to camp out in basically a back yard one time .
Wow!!!! What a wonderful place to get away. My partner and I just spent the weekend at Dawgwoodz and have come home raving about our experience. The owners are amazing. From the cleanliness of the amenities to the homecooked food served at Patsy Rae’s to the beautiful heated/cooled pool this is the best Mens Only camping experience we have ever enjoyed. Don’t miss this experience. We are going back for Labor Day!!!!❤️
Had a great time. I will definitly be back. Met some great people, including the owners. Nice saltwater pool & hot tub, clean indoor hot showers, parking at your campsite / cabin. P.S. Gotta love a place whos directions include 'drive off the paved road' 😁

This place is amazing! The amenities/accommodations are just right to ensure a great weekend nature getaway without sacrificing a single thing. The dawg houses are clean and well maintained, the bathroom facilities are top notch yet still rustic enough to make even the most high maintenance glamper happy, and the campsites are just the right distance to ensure a silent night but an entertaining day. Did I mention the fried green tomatoes? Grown on site and hand picked - they are out of this world! We love you and the amazing space you have created for us!!! Patrons for life - seriously, here’s all my money, just take it - please. ❤️
