Days Inn by Wyndham Apopka/Orlando

I travel a lot with work.... Rarely do I leave reviews. Very skeptical making reservations here, seems like Days Inns are really bad these days. Positives.... It is very clean and comfortable, updated so it's cool. Housekeeping, which is rare these days, is awesome. I don't leave messes but it's always very apparent there is a nice personal touch to the place when I come back. Talked to a couple people at the front desk, friendly no issues. Good location, good parking. Negatives... It's a great place for me, I don't require much. Breakfast, dont come here for that, it's toast and cereal. The outdoor lighting, well it's a positive and negative. Every other room has lights that literally make it seem like it's daylight outside the windows. They really need to get lower rated lights, which typically isn't something you complain about. So I would ask for a room without a light outside the window. Basically that is the reason, with the breakfast, I give it a 4 star and not a 5 star. Been here a week, check out tomorrow. You need a clean, comfortable place I highly recommend it. Each room does have a nice TV, refrigerator and microwave. Nice desk with a couple chairs. I would have zero issues staying here again... As a matter of fact if I'm back in the area working again, I'll 100% book here and not even bother looking anywhere else.

This hotel was fine for a one night stay, but I wouldn't stay longer. The room was very clean - no bugs, messes, or anything else. But the light outside the room on the walkway is SO bright it was like full sun peering in through the curtains. There are black out curtains, but so much light comes into the room from the top and sides of the window. I didn't have an eye mask, so put a shirt over my face, but would wake up when the shirt fell off. The staff was nice, check in was easy, bed was actually pretty comfy, but I just couldn't sleep well. Also the rooms are non smoking, but people were standing right outside their rooms smoking, so even inside the rooms had a light stink.

I had the best service all around, from the maids, from desk workers and even the man in charge. I slept in one of the most comfortable beds in my life and everything is neat and tidy.

First time staying here for one night, my room floor was dirty walls had some weird smear marks on them and oh man the bed … when i pulled the cover back there was use yellow stain on one side of the sheet.. small blood stains a weird look brown/black smear on the other side of the sheet and the bed was made neat as if it’s been changed but looking all the other photos of how the room should look, the bed was missing some decoration.. tv remote was dirty. i asked for new sheets and they gave me a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet.. and the flat sheet came straight from the dryer but tell me why did it have stains on it as well…. same with the towels they look clean untill you open it in the light, again yellow stains… overall the bathroom was clean that’s it.

The rooms are ok , I do recall when it wasn't as nice. I ask the question " How much will it be for a 90 day stay"? She looked me in my eye with a straight face and said ten thousand one hundred five dollars and seventy nine cents 10, 105.79 ! For what? There's no kitchenette just a microwave and a small refrigerator. The price is outrageous 😭😭
