Days Inn by Wyndham Morehead

Horrible. First let’s start off by saying, I paid extra to be refunded money due to cancellation. So I rent my room and find out it’s the wrong day. Go to get refunded, they say I didn’t pay for the $9 cancellation refund protection. The daily rate for my room was 50 bucks, I paid at checkout 76.00. But they’re saying I didn’t pay for the cancellation stuff. Then I book another room, and because I was trying to cancel one booking and renting for that night it was $140.00 for a $50.00 motel room. So I paid $140.00 for a night in a room that I get into, doesn’t have the lock on the door, when it shuts wind blows straight in around the door, people outside fighting, thumping, screaming all night, the heater only worked on low, clean sheets was laying on the bed, old ones not took off. Dirty towel on the sink, mirror filthy, toilet had urine still in it, I could keep going but I won’t. You get the picture here. Oh and to top it off, a dirty needle (capless) on the floor under the bed. This place needs shut down. I didn’t take any photos. If you rent a room and walk in, you will not doubt anything I have said.

If I could give zeros, I would!!! I made a reservation while eating dinner near by, once I pulled into the lot, I was like NO EFFING WAY!!!! They never plowed the parking g lot!! It is snow and ice covered and I almost didn't make it up the driveway. The nice desk clerk told me he has fallen several times himself. The owner...MARK PATEL can't be bothered to hire someone to make the parking g lot safe at all. I walked in and canceled my reservation immediately. Attempts made to call the corporate office failed, as it is a sun eve, but I will definitely call again tomorrow morning

Stayed at Days Inn because of winter weather storm. Room was clean but very worn and showing their age. Snow removal from parking lot was non existent and very tough to navigate in vehicle. Front desk staff very friendly, polite and helpful.

This is an absolute DUMP! STAY ANY WHERE ELSE. It was our only choice after driving 13 hours. The room was absolutely filthy. The carpet had some kind of greasy black powder stains and after you walked through the room to the bathroom it came off on the sticky tile floor. The sink was plugged, it didn't drain. We used the bath tub spigot to wash our hands and feet after I changed the direction on the screwed up bath valve because it was broken. There appeared to be vomit on the wall on my wife's of the bed that she told me about in the morning. Cigarette burns on the tub, linens and blankets. It looked like mold in the top corner of the bathroom above the tub. WE SLEPT IN OUR CLOTHES!! HOPEFULLY WE DIDN'T BRING ANYTHING HOME!!!!

I've definitely seen better. You get a good room for your buck. The shower was alright but outdated as all get out. Was told there was no ashtrays for the smoking rooms so I had to improvise. Woman at the counter seemed to be slightly annoyed that she had to do her job. Mexican Restaurant is next door which is a plus with great food. Would try the red roof next time if I'm in the area.
