Days Inn by Wyndham Portage

The hotel is very old and run down. Front desk was pleasant. Got to our room and it had a hole in the wall, open electrical boxes with wires hanging out, not even a toilet paper holder. One set of sheets had stains on them.

If it wasn't 1:30am we would have gone elsewhere. Not completely sure the room was completely cleaned. Bathroom door was half off it's hinges. Found ants in there too. Floor was not clean, sweepable dirt and bare footprints on the floor. The bed was checked.... No bugs or crumbs Thank God. Bfast was 5:30-9 so we missed that. For the nearly $100 price (tax Included) I expect considerably better.

Was lucky enough to get a newly renovated room. The bed was extremely comfortable paired to the older rooms. Unfinished things they need attention are the bathroom taps not attached to counter top, no room phone, no toilet paper dispenser, tv service was very old analog and needs an update to digital. Very clean, but room service seems to start before 9 when check out is at 11, which makes it hard to sleep in. Staff are friendly and will stay again!

Pros: Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms are spacious and layouts not bad. Cons: Bathtub drain visibly clogged with hair which I was obliged to pull out with my fingers in order to get it to drain. Very gross. Various splotches all over the walls. Edges of bathroom floor had grime and hair in them. Halls smelled like weed. Privacy lock on door was broken off completely. Pool was closed for repairs and had been closed for repairs for long enough that the printer-paper "pool closed" signs had curled up on the corners, so don't count on the pool.

We had a power outage and needed somewhere to stay for the night so I booked because it’s close to my home and place of work……we get there the lobby will definitely fool you….it had a very distinct odor. MILDEW FOR SURE The hallways are filthy the carpet is filthy the carpet in the rooms are filthy THE FURNITURE IN THE ROOM WAS FILTHY only thing seemed clean were the beds i did not shower cuz the bathroom was just hideous there’s no phone in the room and the tv looks lik someone hung a phone on the wall….we literally had holes n the wall that looked lik a bullet hole and one had tissue stuck in it……they offered breakfast that we never smelled nor ate because there wasn’t breakfast there for us……I WILL NEVER EVER EVER suggest them nor will I ever stay there again I was creeped out they get ZERO STARS and here’s the chair from my room WHO IS SITTING ON THAT 🤢🤢🤢🤢
