Just needed a place to stay through the storm. When I called they said they had rooms left but they were not the best rooms . There is no housekeeping, you are responsible to clean up after yourself. Upon entering the room we were greeted by roaches.
At least the room they give me was nasty. Not the best location . 2 star rated .
It was a great place to stay during our transition from another County.
To their credit, they are in the process of remodeling and I'm sure it will be better soon. My experience was not good. The bed was clean but the room was dirty. The wifi cut off every 10 to 30 minutes, so don't plan to work remotely. There is no coffee or ice. The fridge, microwave, TV, cable box and a light were all plugged into one outlet. The bathroom door is missing. I was woken up around 6am with construction trucks. I felt bad for the very nice lady behind the desk. It seemed like she started every comment with "I'm sorry...". There is something wrong when the desk person spends their day apologizing to people. The location is good so I hope the remodeling project solves the issues I saw.
Keep your expectations low and avoid disappointments. They take care of the basics, but the rooms are not being kept up. The sheets were soft and clean, plenty of towels and the A/C was strong. The front desk staff was helpful and acted clueless as to the condition of the property. It's a cheap hotel at a great location directly across from Silver Springs. I had a nice stay and would be happy to stay there again.
