Bed was comfortable. Slept well. Room was neat and clean. I've stayed there before, and will again. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was a winter stay. The heater was efficient and, most of all, quiet. Location is readily accessible for a variety of activities in the Hills. Had a comfortable and easy stay. What more could you want?

Overall, this was great value for the money. The staff was friendly; check in and out was a breeze. The location is great, only 13 minutes from the casinos Deadwood.and very close to mount Rushmore The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was good and Hot breakfast. this was great value for the money.

It was an awful nights rest. There were bugs in one of our beds. The night clerk did have us change rooms. Said I couldn’t get a refund as I booked through Expedia. Morning breakfast wasn’t that great either. I gave my phone number to have the manager call but never heard from them. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I will drive back to Rapid next time.

It's not always that I give five star ratings for an average hotel. However the staff is more than helpful polite courteous and understanding. I am a truck driver and my only needs are a good night's rest and flexibility from management involving checking in and checking out. I've been to a lot of hotels and I always re-book with hotels whom I've worked with before in securing my reservations. What makes this location very unique is that it is one hour drive from Mount Rushmore. There is a local grocery store competitive price gas stations and overall the town is quiet and clean. Although there is a train track, you seldom ever hear it passing by which is once every few days. Mostly everything is within walking distance. There is a casino next door restaurant and hardware store if in case you need to resupply your RV or truck. There is also a self-serve car wash nearby. Which is great to have amenities that close to the hotel. This particular location has very good prices. BRAND NEW WHITE LINENS. ALL THE ROOMS LOOK AND SMELL GREAT. Workout center, & breakfast in the morning. Not continental tho. However Burger King and Subway is right next door. Please ask for Harry who is the manager. He is an awesome human being and extremely flexible and understanding. If you require a late checkout they do offer 12:00 p.m. which is fantastic. Please be aware after 12:00 they will charge if you have not checked out. Amenities include accessible screen window, hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave, & refrigerator, workout center, & vending machines. It may not be a 4 or 5 star hotel however the staff and owner keep the hotel very clean and quiet. Thank you Harry! The only negative part is they have no ESPN News and no elevator. Everything else checked all the boxes.

I am blue collar worker and travel all around the world so I been in my share of horrible hotels and let me tell you this is not one of them is it perfect no but it’s not bad for the money you pay.. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone & I been staying here every time I am in the area and will continue to stay here good bed & good rooms and very clean restrooms and it’s recently been remodeled. Great place to stay
