Days Inn by Wyndham Tamworth

I had mixed feelings about this place when I first got there. There's never anyone at the front desk which makes you feel like your abandoned in a 3rd world nation. The hallway carpets are a mess and the lobby area is missing a TV. However, the rooms are clean, there's an inside pool, a sparse continental breakfast, and a nice little laundry. I'd stay here again ..... good price too considering the season.

If I could leave 0 stars I would rooms very dirty refrigerator filled with mold towels had hair sheets were stained horrible experience. Will not book here again.

I stayed here for an overnight at work. The property is well lit and clean.

We booked this hotel because it was a reasonable drive to North Conway and the amenities seemed good. We arrived to see only four cars in the parking lot. There was someone in front of us when we tried to check in and the associate handling the guest was having problems dealing with her and using the computer. We waited for about 25 minutes to check in. He never addressed us to say hello and he would be with us shortly. He didn’t call for someone else to check us in. I assume he was the only one working because we requested more towels and blankets and he brought them to our room. There were no towels in the pool. The sauna was out of service. A reason we booked this hotel. The refrigerator in our room is very loud and kept me up most of the night. Complimentary breakfast was a big let down. Options were cold cereal, fruit, egg sandwiches that we needed to microwave…yuck. I tried to make a waffle but the iron didn’t work. We wanted orange juice but the machine gave us water. I asked at the desk and was told they haven’t had any for weeks. We headed out at 8:30 am and left the “Do not disturb sign” on our door. When we returned at 11:45 am housekeeping was in our room and had to spend time in the lobby until he was done. We didn’t want this service or anyone in our room. The tv in lobby has been removed and the one in the breakfast area was not able to be turned on. I opened the nightstand to look for information about the hotel and area. That doesn’t exist but there was a dirty tissue in the drawer. Housekeeping isn’t too attentive. There is no elevator and it should be noted on the hotel website. Find another hotel. We were very disappointed. We will never stay here again and do not recommend

We came here on a weekend getaway, the service was great and the location was alright for the price, however the cleanliness of the room could have been better. The bed sheets and living area were in good shape but the shower/ bathroom needed to be wiped down better. Also needs to be swept at the coat closet space right when you walk into the room.
