If you’re looking for the bare minimum, this will suffice. NO HOT WATER! Water plumbed backwards in the tub. Warm water only. AC system did not work, so we had to keep the window open to keep the room cool enough in which to sleep. You are absolutely NOT locked inside the secure facility. LIMITED ACCESS IS A LIE. Anyone can walk in and out of this, “secure facility.” The idea of entering the buildings with a key card only - is a farce. The facility is run equivalent to that of a Developing Country. The staff is reasonably positive, but ‘speak English’ = ?? Breakfast was acceptable. It’s a two star at best. But if you’re tired and need a place to sleep and can deal with all of the bottom shelf aspects… It’s cheap. Also consider: RE Security… this is Utah… People who steal stuff around here, probably wind up at the bottom of a gully and are never heard from again. It’s a cheap way to visit Kanab.

We needed an inexpensive place to stay overnight between destinations and the location was conveniently close to national parks and attractions. For the price, the room was fine. The bed was clean, the water pressure in the shower was good, the TV and A/C worked fine. We were pleasantly surprised by the bfast options since it's more than we expected--waffle maker, hot food, fruit, cereal, etc. We've been to more expensive hotels that had far less, so this was a welcome change. The property is definitely very dated. The hallways smelled and were minimally cleaned, there was trash carelessly tossed on the floor by inconsiderate people that had not been cleaned up by the next day, and the walls were pretty thin. You can clearly hear people talking, dogs barking. There is also very little - if any - staff around. Never once saw housekeeping, and the front desk had a sign with a phone number on it when we attempted to check out. I assume they have a set schedule for later in the day, and perhaps this is how they keep costs low. But this raised concerns for us since we did have an issue we needed resolving but couldn't do so in person. In a nutshell, if you're just looking for a bed for the night and a hot breakfast in the morning to get you back on the road, this place does the job. If you're looking to stay for more than one night, then pay a bit more to stay elsewhere. You definitely get what you pay for.

The hotel is pretty good for the price. Location is great and the king bed room was spacious, included a couch, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. The bed was clean, but there were some stains on the walls as well as a few strands of hair in the bathtub and an empty toilet paper roll.

You get what you pay for. The room was cheap and wife and I just needed a place to sleep. The place is very old and has not been maintained well. Although our room was spacious and clean, it did not have a cozy feel and the bathroom had rust on everything and was cracked in most places. The toilet was also dirty. The towels were stained and when we asked for new ones, the lady at the front desk gave us attitude. The free breakfast was a plus point but the food was only ok. We have stayed at different Days Inn before and have genuinely enjoyed the space but this one truly disappointed us. It needs a remodel. We will not stay at this place if we ever come back to the area.
