I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. We stay in the sleeper cabins which are in great condition and always clean. The staff at the store and the staff in general are absolutely awesome. They make you feel so comfortable and their customer service is amazing. I love this place.
Was great for a over night stay in the motorhome towing a car...funny though the woman who checked me in couldn't u derstand why people take the long way around to the pull throughs....it's because you would obviously scrape badly if you wet to the first right coming into rv area
A little over a mile to the Mateel Community Center for events. We had a larger room (6) with kitchenette. There are reg or standard rooms cabins, camping and RV spots. Open year round. Great hosts.
We've stayed in their sleeper cabins 4 times over the past three years. The location is close to the freeway but still beautiful and calm, with Eel river swimming hole and pool. They take very good care of their guests here and the office cats, Cashew and Peaches are always up for pets. Sleeper Cabins sleep 4 ( bunk beds), bring your own blankets and pillows ( yes the beds are a little squeaky- earplugs are great), also fridge, microwave and AC. More importantly they have a porch, a bench and a fire pit. They have amenities that we haven't utilized before ( due to time constraints) like a mini golf course, sauna and vintage arcade. It really is a great colorful place to stay either as a destination or a pit stop on your 101 road trip.

It had the outside deck and chairs that we wanted. The spacious interior and kitchenette was amazing! We enjoyed the pool, access to the river, picking blackberries, and prime location for trips into the Redwoods, yet close enough to shopping and gourmet dining at Benbow Inn. And all at a reasonable price! Thank you!"
