The Black Bear campsite was incredible! It included a picnic table and space that can easily accommodate a medium-sized RV or a car (we used a car). There's also a designated spot for a tent. What sets Dean’s campground apart from others is the sense of privacy. Unlike many campgrounds where you're crowded by other campers, this one offers plenty of space, with bushes and trees providing natural privacy. It felt almost like having our own private campground. The caretakers were also very accommodating, making our stay even better. We’ll definitely be returning!
Closed gate, no advanced information about how to access the camping ground. Not friendly for people travelling overseas. Have to make a roaming international call to get more information. Additional 12 dollars I pay for remotely contacting them. Does worth the money to be there.
Very great site for a comfy and safe stay. The owner provided the details of everything so we easily got there and stayed with no problems. We marked this campground as our favorite and will be visiting again! The owner is very friendly!
This was a last-minute booking. host was extremely helpful anytime I had a question. She answered the phone or messaged me back. The restrooms are the best I’ve ever seen for a remote, campground, and I’ve done a lot of camping in my day super clean with water to wash your hands and soap, toilet covers, super soft toilet paper quiet, campground.
Had a great stay here, campground and portapotty were very clean and host extremely accomodating. Camping spots provide enough space/privacy. There's a detour from the steep road which is easily accessible for larger vehicles. Would definitely stay here again!
