I’ve been going there for 45 years and this is the best that resort has ever looked back in the old days. They never had enough money cause they never charged enough for the entrance fee and it’s worth what they’re charging now you’re there for the healing waters it’s one of the best places you could go. That’s close to Las Vegas and surrounding areas take advantage of it. You’re there for the water not anything else but I’ve seen recently. They’ve updated the rooms. They’re gorgeous The night sky like no other except of course writing the heart of death Valley.

12/14/2024 Such a disappointing visit tonight :,( I’ve been coming here for 15 years and have not ever experienced the water feeling cold. We were just here last Saturday and the water was hot, steam rolling off of it and it was quiet and everyone followed the 30minute rule. Tonight there were a group of men who were so loud it was so disturbing and they occupied one of the pools for over an hour we waited. By the time they came out and we went to go in the gentlemen were cleaning it they told us it’d be 2 hours before we could go in. We were not offered a refund when I informed the front office about what we experienced. The water was not hot at all in the first pool we went in we were actually shivering inside the water. The second pool was not even near 100 degrees either. We are wounded Veterans and we would like to feel like the time we spent after driving several hours out here was well spent, be respectful of other people’s time. We don’t have time to wait around while you try to figure out the problem or make the pools hotter. If you know that this has been going on please be up be up front with folks and give them a choice of whether or not they’d like to spend their money on less than sub par hot springs. These were not hot springs pools tonight, these felt like baths when the water is going cold in the tub and you have to refill it with hot water. Be better Death Valley Hot Springs aka DELIGHTS. 12/16/2024 UPDATE: I got severely ill from going in this water I promise you I have been coming here for a long long time and I haven’t ever experienced this level of nausea unless I had gone in chlorinated water at one of the water parks. I have a highly sensitive system and my body does not react well to chlorine so I can only go in salt water or natural waters. Something is wrong here with the water I don’t believe it’s the same anymore unfortunately and sadly.

The only family friendly hot spring we found in town! The owner said as long as our kids were well supervised, they were welcome. We’d been camping in Joshua Tree for four days and after a quick shower in the private room we were in, a half hour soak was such a treat. On our way out, the owner so kindly let us know they were putting on a Thanksgiving dinner, and if we were still in the area, we were welcome to come eat with them. Highly recommend!

I have stayed at Delight's several times over the last several years, under the former management. The first thing to know, and respect, is the 30 minute limit in the individual bath house rooms. There is nothing worse than a crowd of people growing testy (that you will have to walk out into) if you overstay your time. There are only 4 rooms available (and just one overnight) and everyone gets their turn. I wish I could stay in my favorite tub all day, but that is simply not how it works. Secondly - as I prepare to make my next reservation, I have become aware that the stove has been taken out of my favorite accommodation and that there is a "no cooking inside" rule now. This is very problematic for guests who like to come and stay for more than 1 or 2 nights, given that there are so few (open) restaurants in the area. Also problematic for those with food allergies, special diets and the like who have a hard time dining out. One of the reasons Delight's worked so well for me was that I could cook in the kitchenette. I am hoping the management will read and address this (as I'm sure I'm not the only returning guest with this concern) - I will follow up with a phone call if necessary, because as it stands I'm a bit distressed about making a reservation now. Lastly, in this recent management change, the BBQ/brewery spot on the corner is no longer open. My understanding is that the former managers abandoned all of the operations (restaurant included), so just be prepared for that. I have really enjoyed my past stays at Delight's. I'm hoping that the new management will reconsider their decision about dismantling the kitchenettes in order to encourage guests to stay longer.

this is one of the more unique places that I’ve ever been. Do not expect elegance. It is very much glamping in the wild, but a beautiful wild it is. The organic and very authentic vibe of this family business is extremely powerful. The Hot Springs is incredible. The quietness and immersion in nature is priceless.
