The ascent to the camp takes 13 minutes and it is a difficult dirt road, but it is worth it, it is beautiful and the stars are impressive. I would go back again, I recommend it 100%
An awesome group campsite. Very secluded and can fit up to 40, we had about 15 people and there was plenty of space. The road into the campsite is a bit treacherous and def needs a high clearance car as it is quite bumpy. Takes about 20mins from the main road. Definitely recommend this site to groups.
Nice large site. Adjacent to trail, so some foot traffic for outhouse shared use. Lot's of room to set up tents. Only 3 bear boxes for food storage.
Beautiful spot to hike up to.
Snow there right now in early April
