By far our favorite place to stay when up in Oneonta/Cooperstown/Ostego area. Owners are pure genuine first class and always go out of their way to ensure you’re stay on the campgrounds are a positive experience. Will always come back to Deer Haven! 5 STARS!!
Fantastic family owned campground. Can’t get a better spot for a tournament at ASV, better and cheaper than any airbnb. We had a rv spot with a great view. Mica and Brett have put a lot of love into this place and it shows. We also rented the pavilion for a team party and it was perfect. Our game schedule kept changing due to weather but they were super accommodating (as long as it’s not booked). Highly recommend !
We stayed here for 4 days on a mini vacation in our RV in early October. Their communication was fantastic, the place was clean, the owner went out of his way to accommodate us and EVEN DELIVERED us ice for a cold adult beverage upon arrival. (we forgot to bring an ice tray). The place was quiet and offered awesome views. I could imagine it might be a bit noisy during the baseball season but we weren't there during that time. We highly recommend this place. A true pleasure and we will certainly stay there on our next visit. Thank you again to the staff!
This place was AMAZING for our baseball team! We rented 10 cabins and it was the most wonderful week for our team families. We all highly recommend! You can’t beat the 1 min drive to fields and the amazing Mountain View’s and the space and play areas/pool for the kids. The cabins were clean and perfect size for a family.
Deer Haven was a gem! Campsites were large, level and very clean. Bathrooms are clean and well appointed. Driveway is steep, but is definitely worth it for the views and privacy. Beautiful dark skies for astronomy buffs like us, too. We found our spot - 7 minutes to our son’s dorm at SUNY Oneonta, it’s PERFECT!
