Customer Reviews
Let’s start by saying I was just a visiting guest. Immediately upon arrival, a man (who I’m assuming is the owner) ran up to my vehicle, did not greet me kindly, and started by interrogating me as to why I was there. I stated I was only visiting family for the trick or treat event. The man then tells me very rudely and in an abrasive way, that I will need to get out of the way and go inside to talk to his wife about a guest pass. Once inside, the wife was also very rude. Asking what I considered to be questions she did not need the answers to. Even asking for my license plate number. This was after stating why we were there and how long our intended visit would last. She charged me $6 for four people. My family that arrived later was charged $10 for the same guest pass. While other family told us that they were charged $2 for the both of them. Overall, the campground is a nice wooded area. But the service and groundskeeper were more than disrespectful and I am happy to say I will not be going back any time soon.
About 3 minutes off the interstate lies this quiet, friendly and clean campground. The staff was more than helpful and willing to accommodate. We have 2 dogs that had plenty of room to walk and play. Our children enjoyed the mini golf and friendliness of the staff. We didn’t get to use the pool due to timing but looked extra clean and accommodating. We stayed for a quick night en-route to the East coast and would stay here again. Not far from the KOA, which I’m sure is just as nice, but for all we needed this campground was 30$ cheaper. Perfect spot to stop. Thanks for a great quick stay.
Great overnight stop. We camped on trip to and back from DC. Nice owners. Nicely maintained. Close to highway. We had a short travel day and the Owner suggested visiting a great museum in town. Very nice!
Had a wonderful time. Wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return. The owners were like family!
Terrible customet service and bad attitude. We arrived at camp after calling twice over the phone for details. After 2 minutes at the office, the owner said we should find another place because 'we ask too many questions'. ?! We asked maybe 10 questions since we are new RV owners. Furthermore, the campsites were not leveled properly. Stay away. There are nicer and cheaper campgrounds close by with excellent service.
