Lovely campground, plenty of room, lots of trees. You can tell they work to make everything comfortable and attractive. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the small store has an AMAZING amount of food and other supplies. I didn’t go inside, but the game room had lots of different activities and looked like fun. Bath house was very clean, and laundry was accessible and inexpensive. All around, great campground.
Traveling with our 38 ft 5th wheel RV, with no real destination, we allow ourselves to find some of this countries best places. City's, States, Restaurant's and Campgrounds, as well as locations that make you feel close to God and Nature. Sometimes you find a hidden Gem and want others to enjoy that space too. Deer Trail campground is one of those places!! The owners have built an oasis for campers, their attention to detail and hard work does not go unnoticed at this park. Positive's Location - Amazing Staff - Amazing Atmosphere - Amazing Sites - Ample room Amenities - more than enough to enjoy. Access to necessities - awesome Price - worth the value Cabins - looked very well kept and comfortable We hope to return to this Park Thank you
First time campers!!! My family will definitely be back again very soon! We loved everything about this campground, Super clean. Several play areas for the kids and a very nice game room and a very clean/nice pool area. Not overly crowded and you can actually sit by the pool and watch your kids while you can still enjoy and relax in the sun 🌞 The owners are amazing and super nice. Got here later than expected but check in was super simple owners allowed us to borrow a fan due I forgot ours 🤦🏻♀️ High recommended this camp ground for the family or just a couples get away !!!
This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it, we already made reservations for next year! We had sites right by the creek and it was so peaceful and perfect for the kids! The stocked pond was great for the boys and we all enjoyed the game room! The grounds were well maintained and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful! The pool area was great as well, with a covered porch for those not swimming! We are looking forward to making many memories here!
Aweful.....Payed rates as high as KOA. Heres what made it a bad experience. 1.Internet was trash unless you was in the game room. Internet at your camp site is really bad...mostly unusable. 2. Game room was closed 1.5 hours before the closing time which was supposed to be open at 9pm. 3.Water on the full hook up sites..AWEFUL..STINKY WATER. ITS NOT CITY WATER. I like to know what kind of water is gonna be running through my pipes. Its either creek water, spring or well. Sulphur smell knocks you down even with a new water filter on the hose. 4.IM SICK AND TIRED OF PAYING THESE KINDS OF RATES TO NOT HAVE ALL THE AMENTITIES IM BEING CHARGED FOR. LASTLY.. If you absolutely cant get in to Wytheville KOA and your desperate to just get off the road and take a hot shower and smell like a frog out of a pond while your bored out of your mind because there is nothing to do definetely stop!!!
