Delta Grove Campground Introduce

Welcome to Delta Grove Campground, a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, located at 2550 Columbia Valley Rd, Cultus Lake, BC V2R 0E1, Canada. For inquiries, please contact them at (604) 986-9371 or via mobile at +1 604-986-9371.

Delta Grove Campground is notable for being reportedly the only campsite in the area that remains open during the off-season, making it a potential option for those looking to camp outside of the peak summer months. The environment is characterized by heavy, dense tree cover, providing ample shade and a sense of being immersed in nature. Many campsites, including at least one reviewer's, offer amazing views directly overlooking Cultus Lake.

While check-in assistance may be limited during late arrivals or the off-season, one visitor reported easily finding an available site and setting up without issues. A significant feature mentioned is the presence of a pretty big washroom with hand-washing sinks, which was considered a luxury by one guest. Additionally, the campground is easily accessible via paved roads, with no need to drive on dirt roads to reach the location. A practical feature for many is the availability of phone service within the campground, allowing guests to stay connected if desired.

Delta Grove Campground offers a small beach area that can be used for launching kayaks or simply relaxing in beach chairs. However, it is noted that the beach is quite small and may only comfortably accommodate one group at a time. The campground does not have docks or boat launches for larger vessels.

One significant downside reported by a visitor during the off-season was that the washrooms were locked, requiring a 10-minute drive to the nearest gas station for facilities, which was considered inconvenient. This suggests that the availability of amenities might vary depending on the season.

No specific promotional information was mentioned in the reviews. For details on pricing, availability, and any seasonal services or offers, it is recommended to contact Delta Grove Campground directly using the provided phone numbers or to check relevant booking platforms for campgrounds in the Cultus Lake area.

For local users in Taiwan planning a camping trip to the Cultus Lake region of British Columbia, Canada, Delta Grove Campground offers a lakeside experience with potential for off-season camping. The environment provides shade and scenic views, with a small beach for water activities. The presence of accessible washrooms (though potentially seasonal) and phone service adds convenience. However, it's advisable to inquire about the availability of all amenities, especially during the off-season, before your visit.

This is the only campsite that is open during the off-season. Our site had an amazing view right in front of Cultus Lake. We arrived just before midnight, and while no one was around to assist with check-in (likely due to the off-season), we easily found an available site and set up without any issues. There's plenty of cover from the heavy dense trees, which is always a plus. The only downside was that the washrooms were all locked, so we had to drive 10m to the nearest gas station, which was super inconvenient. Overall, still a very pleasant stay!

We really enjoyed our time here. We went there Thursday-Friday, so it was much quieter than I expected. They have no docks or boat-launches, but they have a small beach where you can start kayaking or simply sit on your beach chairs. It's very small so once you take the spot, no other groups are able to enjoy the spot though.. They have a pretty big washroom with hand-washing sinks, which was a luxury for us. You also don't have to drive on dirt roads at all to get here. You still get to have phone service. If you enjoy camping and nature while being still connected to the civilization, it's a great place to go.

Very clean and well maintained. Loved that our campsite was very close to our own little private beach. I can't wait to go back again soon.

Nice campground, lots of trees for shade yet good spots to get some sun. Good size spots for small trailers, tents and spots for doubles. Try and book early or come later in the season to get a spot next to the lake. There are some spots next to the road and that’s a little to close for me, I like the middle or if I can get one next to the lake. There are out houses as well as a regular toilets and showers. Close to town so if you forget something your not stuck.

The registry office is a km or so before the campground so pop in there to get your ticket. There is a shower/toilet block at the entrance of Delta Campground, good pressure and nice continuous hot water but has seen better days aesthetically speaking. Nice shadey sites with plenty of lake side spots, rubbish/recycle bins.
