Decent place, but not for long trailers! It's a tight squeeze for our 32' horse trailer with living quarters, some of the spots are not long enough for a trailer this size, and because of the single lane with trees/boulders/log fences on either side you have little wiggle room when backing. Spots have picnic tables and fire rings. The toilets were clean. The well is under construction so all the water is off for now. A short walk to the creek is nice. Some road and train noise, didn't bother us but just know you can hear it

Halfway between Glacier East and Glacier West along state route 2 south of the park. The custodians are a lovely couple and zoom around in an adorable golf scooter. The place is tidy, easy to get to and around. The bathrooms are well kept and smell good. Everything is clean. No lights anywhere at night and it is pitch black. If you need to use the bathroom make sure you bring a flashlight. Otherwise a beautiful campsite. I highly recommend starting there. East side entrances are closed to the park for the 2020 season and it is 34 miles to the west gate.

The devil creek campground and Flathead National forest are lucky to have a camp host like Sandy! She works hard to keep the camp ground clean and make sure every camper leaves happy! Every campground needs a host like Sandy!!!! Also the best smelling bathroom at a campground I’ve ever been too!

Stayed for 5 nights in late June. Beautiful area that’s roughly 35 minutes away from West Glacier and an hour from the east entrance. Nights were chilly in a tent (a low of 33° F) so come prepared. Potable water wasn’t available but should be ready next season. Mosquitoes were everywhere so bring bug spray. As others have mentioned, the site is right by a highway and a major rail route. Noise wasn’t terrible but the train woke us up more than once. Bathrooms were very clean and Randy and Karen were simply the best camp hosts! All in all, a well kept and very convenient campsite for people trying to get the most out of a visit to Glacier.

Nice spot. Roomy campsites. Beautiful views. There was no running water in the faucets, but this may a seasonal thing as we were pretty early in the season.
