I came to the lake to paddle my kayak to Devil’s island for hammocking and picnicking. I discovered that the water level is so low that it is about 100 yards away from the parking lot to launch a kayak. Also, due to the water level being so low, Devil’s island is not an island. There are also no hammockable trees on the “island.” Still had fun paddling around anyway. Beautiful water, LOTS of shells.
