Devils Canyon Campground is a serene and picturesque primitive camping destination located at 84535 on US-191 in Monticello, Utah. This enchanting campsite provides an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts seeking an authentic outdoor experience.
Renowned for its spacious, well-separated sites, Devils Canyon Campground is particularly favored by RVers, accommodating even large rigs up to 36 feet. While many sites are suitable for various RV lengths, visitors should be mindful of the terrain's unevenness which might require some effort to level.
Campers appreciate the peaceful setting, perfect for overnight stays and enjoying nature. While hookups aren't available, the lack of modern amenities is offset by the untouched beauty of the area.
Visitors highlight Devils Canyon Campground's charm and ample space for RVs, with many noting the ease of finding suitable sites. The clean, albeit primitive, restrooms are a plus. However, it's advisable to arrive early on busy weekends to secure a spot.

This is a beautiful spot and the spaces are nicely separated. I’d looked before we arrived to make sure a 36’ RV could fit and there are several spaces long enough. But many of them — of all lengths — are not at ALL level. We tried three places before we could level. On a busy weekend, you might be out of luck.
Great place to overnight on blacktop and enjoy a campfire. I've been here a few times and have never had any trouble finding a suitable site for our 30' Motorhome. Bathrooms are clean but primitive. There are no hookups that I'm aware of if you need that. I've seen water by the restrooms, but I'm not sure if it's pottable (just states "no washing"). Prices are reasonable as compared to other primitive campgrounds. Lots of evergreen trees, cactus, and firewood.
Agree with all the other positive reviews. Only complaint is that the campground is located right next to highway 191 and is very noisy from the vehicle traffic. Tent camping.
Great spot to stop on our journey. Large spots, nice fire pits and picnic tables.
This campground was one of the best we have stayed in as far as dry camping goes. Pads were well spaced out and there was plenty of room. We had beautiful clear skies and hardly any light pollution so star grazing was amazing. Also had a great view of the Annular Eclipse.
