Hello, fellow Arkansans! Are you yearning for an unforgettable outdoor adventure that combines breathtaking natural beauty, a rich history, and top-tier camping facilities right here in the Natural State? Then it's time to set your sights on Devil's Den State Park, an iconic gem nestled in the picturesque Lee Creek Valley near West Fork, Arkansas. Within this magnificent park, Campground E stands out as a highly sought-after area, offering an exceptional camping experience that consistently receives rave reviews from local visitors and travelers alike.
Devil's Den State Park isn't just a campground; it's a testament to the enduring beauty of the Ozark Mountains and the remarkable legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Established in the 1930s, the park's rustic stone and wood structures, including its charming cabins and trails, were meticulously crafted by the CCC, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape. This history adds a unique character to an already stunning location. Many visitors describe it as one of the most beautiful campgrounds they've ever seen, praising its thoughtful layout and how it enhances the natural splendor.
Whether you're looking to park your RV on a spacious, level pad, pitch a tent on a graded spot by the creek, or even experience a cozy cabin or glamping option, Devil's Den caters to diverse preferences. The focus here is on providing a comfortable yet authentic outdoor experience. From clean, heated restrooms with actual toilets and ample toilet paper – a detail often highlighted by delighted campers – to the generous spacing between sites, every element is designed to ensure your trip is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. For Arkansans, Devil's Den State Park, particularly its esteemed Campground E, offers a perfect blend of adventure, tranquility, and genuine hospitality, making it an ideal choice for your next local getaway.
Devil's Den State Park is gracefully situated in the enchanting Lee Creek Valley, with its primary address being 11333 West AR Hwy 74, West Fork, AR 72774, USA. Campground E, specifically, is a prominent loop within this sprawling and beautiful park. For Arkansans, its location in Northwest Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains makes it an accessible and convenient destination, particularly from population centers like Fayetteville and Fort Smith.
Accessibility to Devil's Den is a key point for those traveling with RVs or trailers. While the park is nestled in rugged terrain, the recommended route for larger vehicles is to take Exit 53 off Interstate 49 at West Fork, rather than the more winding and challenging Highway 74 exit from Winslow. This ensures a smoother and less stressful drive, even for big rigs. Upon entering the park, Campground E is typically one of the first loops encountered, making it easy to locate your reserved site. Despite its somewhat secluded feel, which contributes to its peaceful atmosphere, the park is designed for visitor convenience. Cell service can be limited within the park's valley setting, allowing for a true unplugged experience, though Wi-Fi might be available near certain common areas. This blend of natural immersion and well-managed access makes Devil's Den State Park and its campgrounds, including E, an excellent and practical choice for Arkansas locals seeking a hassle-free journey to an exceptional outdoor destination.

Spent time hiking and camping with friends. We wives stayed at a cabin while our husbands camped out. Our cabin was very cozy and clean, and the campgrounds were easy to access. The public use camping bathrooms were clean and nice as well. Can't say enough good about our little trip! Beautiful location, good prices, fun was had by all.
One of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever seen. The location is stunning w beautiful water running along the creek, and the development of the campground just beautifies the natural splendor even more. The planning of the space is nicely laid out. The campgrounds themselves are some of the nicest I've ever seen. Each one featuring a parking spot, picnic table, BBQ and fire pit with a graded tent spot so you won't be tripping over rocks, branches, etc. in the woods. Some of the spots are riverside and feauture beautiful rock retaining walls. See photos for details Park has basic but nice (heated in winter) bathroom / showers. Yes the bathrooms had actual toilets w decent TP - as opposed to those outhouse holes so many recreational parks have. For those not interested in roughing it the park features rv spots, rustic cabins, and glamping cabins, etc... The park has regular activities and nature walks w a guide scheduled throughout the day Gorgeous park.
Great campground with large sites. Lots of shade. My 5er is 36.5' and we could get in easily. Full hookups with 50 amp service. No verizon or T-Mobile service. Viasat pay wifi was expand useless.
Gorgeous trails. Devil's Den trail is a must. Sites are spacious and shaded. Wi-Fi you buy through an outside carrier, is spotty at best and a little pricey for the service you get. Love the Park and the area
This is a great place to camp. The sites are really nice, lots of space, paved and a nice flat run for the sewer line. The trails are fantastic. You have to plane ahead.
