The most amazing campsite I've ever been in. Tough to get to for just anyone but that makes it more peaceful. Beautiful views also.
Four amazing days in The Needles. I had camped in Devil's Kitchen sites 1,2 and 3 but until this trip, never in #4. Absolutely love the privacy and size of the site but it doesn't have quite the view towards Devil's Lane that the others do until you walk out of the site a bit. One of the two pit toilets in DK is right outside the #4 site, convenient but sometimes the odor hangs in the air. We had perfect camping and hiking weather. No wind. October is such a great month to be in Canyonlands. Can't wait to get back there again.
We loved this campground. Even though we were backpacking, we made a point to camp here one night after seeing pictures of it. Site 5, the one under the huge overhanging rock was the best. It rained heavily that night and we, along with our tent and gear, stayed dry.
What a great and unique campground! Yes, it has toilets.
Beautiful area with great views and amazing hiking trails. Jeeping and camping are phenomenal. You could easily spend a few days here and not see everything. We highly recommend going.
