Wow. I know it's winter and all but the place is incredible. Very secluded. Right now it is closed. Either by the season or corona. Very 'rain forest-ish'. The river that literally runs through it it intense. All the time we we were there we kept coming up with ideas for camping this spring or summer. The way the river winds through and the moss laden trees everywhere, very beautiful. You need a WA State Discover Pass, but it is well worth every penny. I will, we will all be back in nicer weather. Thank Dewatto Campground.
Had a wonderful time. Not busy when we were there, just a boy scout group. I hear it can get very crowded. Port a potty was way to full, should have been dumped before a weekend, but otherwise a magical place. P.S. humans stop destroying things. So many trees with devastating injuries from ner' do wells hitting them with hatchet and hammers, don't break the tips off baby trees Love your wilderness or stay out
I liked it. Beautiful area. We didn’t have to be tiptoe quite and it was fun. I spent most of my time exploring and sitting in the fresh water
We had so much fun here. It was beautiful. A creek and river run on the edge and there was a sandy area that my kiddos LOVED. We will definitely go again.
Last summer we had the privilege of staying at Dewatto Campgrounds and it was an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, relaxation, and family fun. Situated amidst the breathtaking scenery of Washington State, this hidden gem exceeded all expectations, providing an unforgettable escape for both two-legged and four-legged members of our family. One of the highlights of our experience at Dewatto Campgrounds was the proximity to the river. From the moment we arrived, the soothing sound of flowing water served as a constant soundtrack to our stay, creating a tranquil atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. Whether we were lounging by the riverbank, skipping stones across the water, or simply basking in the serenity of nature, the river provided endless opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. But the beauty of Dewatto Campgrounds extends far beyond its scenic surroundings. The campground itself is meticulously maintained, with spacious campsites nestled among towering trees and lush foliage, offering plenty of privacy and seclusion. Our family and dogs had ample space to roam and explore, making us feel right at home in nature's embrace. What truly sets Dewatto Campgrounds apart, however, is its unwavering commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive destination for all. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for both humans and pets alike was truly commendable and made our time at Dewatto Campgrounds all the more memorable.
