Diamond Lure Campground & RV Resort

This was a very nice campground with large sites. The staff was friendly and had a very good price for firewood. I used the main bath house near the front and it was very clean. It looked as if the bath house was newly remodeled. There was a nice walking trail that lead to a playground along with a second bathhouse. We only went in to the bathrooms, but they were clean as well. I walked by the outside community wash station for tent campers and it was a large covered space to get your dishes, and other items cleaned. The dog park was kept up and there is nice dog wash station on site. The campground is very pet friendly. There were two playgrounds and they are both kept in great condition. The lake had a nice beach area for the summer time. We did fish off the dock and the kids were able to catch some small brim. We camped at Diamond Lure Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dog park, Dog Beach, Dog Paradise!!!!!! Phenomenal!!!!! Greatest choice we have ever made was staying here. We are planning to continue to stay as long as we possibly can until our house is built. The owners of this place are just so amazing and accommodating. Oh how I need to mention the bathhouse is exceptional. Let's just say we have a shower on board, but after checking out the bathhouse we only shower there now it's beyond exceptional.

Absolutely loved staying here! We travel for work, this is our 3rd stay at Diamond Lure. Shawn and Echell, owners, are wonderful people, they take such pride in their hidden gem. Doug and Dave the grounds keepers, jack of all trades are fabulous! We hope to visit again. We will miss the people here, and this amazing place.

What a “gem” of a campground! This was our first time staying here and it definitely won’t be our last. Diamond Lure is an absolutely beautiful campground that is very well maintained. The lake and surrounding grass was wonderful for my family to hang out and relax. My kids couldn’t get enough time swimming in that lake! We were able to go fishing off the dock and our pup had fun running around the dog park. The campsites are nice and wooded to provide plenty of shade and there is sewer hook up which is always really nice. The facilities have been newly redone and were really clean. The location is also great, with apple picking and Amicalola Falls nearby. We will definitely be back soon!

Great campground! Friendly staff. Large sites. Beautiful bathhouse and laundry room. $2 each load/$4 wash and dry. Beautiful lake. Very nice dog park and dog beach, too. It's just minutes from downtown Ellijay. It's two minutes to Reece's Apple Farm and Cidery. This is our second time staying here. There have been even more improvements since last time. Upon arrival/check-in you are greeted and escorted to your site. They make sure you get to your site and lined up. Good wifi, too. Hidden gem!
