Here’s what some of our happy campers have to say:

  • "Very nice campground. Well maintained. Good access roads (dirt once you leave the paved roads). Places for tents, RVs, etc. Outhouses. Beautiful scenic countryside with wide-open views. Cooler temperatures and breezes than down in the lowlands. Trails for people and horses. Many pine trees, spruce trees, and wildflowers. This campground is probably the best place anywhere to see the uncommon bird species Cassia Crossbill."
  • "Went out to get a Christmas tree.🎄 Easy parking, plenty of picnic tables, they also have grills. There was a small amount of snow. Didn't see if there were any bathrooms but I think there was one. Beautiful site the kids had a great time with the snow."

We stayed in dispersed camping during the start of fall weather. It is incredibly beautiful on this area. It was worth the trip.

We were tent camping here in the month of July. The temperatures were comfortable. Note that there are absolutely no amenities, so we just pulled over on a dirt road in a small meadow and set up camp. We were prepared for no services. It was very private and quiet. There were moose ( which we had never seen in the wild before) grazing in a small creek. The aspen trees were shimmering. I enjoyed my time here. Another note; we drove for miles and miles on a dusty dirt road to find our spot. We only saw one other camper. She had a small travel trailer and a big dog.
