This place is pretty great although the sights are very close together and only a small access down at the creek to cool off. It was very crowded and 110°. The campground currently does not have water so that's something to keep in mind. Very remote place and a good stop to spend the night if you're looking for somewhere to crash. Also a good point to stay if rafting or kayaking the river.

Great little campground with a FANTASTIC swimming hole! We just got back today (7/22/18). The four stars was for no drinking water. Only one place on their website says no drinking water while 2 other places it says drinking water available. We arrived at Dillon Creek Campground to find there was no drinking water. We were on motorcycles and had minimal water. LUCKILY...I had my Katadyn filter for emergencies. We were able to fill my 500ml Camelback and make several trips down to the river for water. Just be aware that there is NO WATER at the campground. Bring your own. We made the reservation on 1/27/18. The no water notice came out in May. It would have been nice to receive an email notifying anyone who made reservations prior to May that there was no water. Oh well, still an awesome spot, just could have been a disaster if we didn't have our filter.

Access to the river is there, but not great. There is no camp host, although US forestry does drive through a couple times a day. There is water, but make sure you bring your own wood. Overall, not a bad campsite, but with no camp host, if there are other rowdy campers there's not much you can do.

Great little camp for those looking for rest from driving, but not too many options for hiking. The campsite allows you to drive right up to your spot, where you have a campfire area and a picnic table. The Klamath River is about 150 feet from each campsite and you have about 50-80 feet separation from your neighbors. If you arrive at night, you can use your car's headlights to help you set up.
