Quite and beautiful! Great place for off grid tent camping! Fishing wasn't great. I hear it's better in the spring time
Very secluded primitive camping. The setting was great. The lake is not for swimming though. There are toilets, but no shower or sink. There is potable water near each campsite. No cell service with Verizon, so be prepared for some peace and quiet.
Such an awesome little campground! We brought our two furbabies here for their very first camping trip and we were not disappointed. There were no envelopes to leave our fee for our campsite but we ran to a nearby gas station and I bought an envelope to make sure we left our fee. The trout lake was a really nice short hike for the pups! You can fit a pop-up camper in certain campsites, plenty of space and privacy from the other campsites.
Great place to hike. Went with wife to hike and went all the way up to Appalachian trail... Medium to high difficulty but good and very well maintained. An overlook would've been best but that's nature...
Great place. They was rolling over each other at one point. Jumping like flipper. It was windy and they was still hongry. They was so many they laughed at me a played kick ball with my bait. Stinkers. It's olright cause I still got three. They ate good to with some lemon and butters. Mmmmhmmm.
