Great campground with big some what private spaces. It beautifully surrounded by old growth timber. The lake is full of fish but the shore is a bit rocky. The only draw back is there is only one bathroom.
Doe Point is a favorite campground for many years. The campsites are always well taken care of, most have good privacy. We just returned from a four day stay there. Got off to a rocky start, I slipped and fell while my husband was getting ready to back in our travel trailer. Lost my footing and ended up stuck in some bushes! My husband had trouble helping me up, and went to the camp host for help. The camp host, Mike, came right away and helped rescue me. He was so friendly and respectful, and he made a point of checking on us. We were so grateful. Thank you Mike for your help and kindness!
One of our favorite campgrounds. Host was very friendly. But the all public restrooms were closed due to repairs... Thankful we have an RV. Felt sorry for tent campers😔 Take your bug spray mosquitos are bad this year!
Would be REALLY nice if there were more first come first serve spots. There's 1 maybe 2....so alot of spots don't even end up being used by those who reserved them. I see this more and more at campgrounds..... It's a shame bc you pretty much need to reserve A YEAR IN ADVANCE Just like Lake Of The Woods.
Great spaces for tent camping. Great swimming and the Camp host is really nice. We had a blast
