Our holiday stay at Dogwood was absolutely fantastic. The owners are first class, friendly and accommodating. The sites are clean and well thought out. With the number of children that were there, it was, still relatively quiet. I really had a relaxing stay. I would recommend Dogwood to any of my friends and family. The fireworks show was more than I expected. And I must mention that they have great “Slushies.” Charlie and Lou are the best.
Dogwood acres campground should have the word FAMILY in it someplace. Reason I say this, the owners, Charlie , Lucille, Kristin and John and their staff make you feel that way. The grounds themselves are always very clean and well maintained. They have a great playground for children, pond for fishing and a beautiful pool for all to enjoy. Not to mention an awesome disc golf course. Many activities, I'm sure you will find something that you would enjoy. Been camping here for 20+ years. My grandchildren spent many a summer there when visiting with us. They have many good memories from here at DAC. Always felt safe here. Everyone looked out for all the kids. If you looking for a get away for a weekend visit, an over night stop or permanent camper, I highly recommend you check out Dogwood Acres Campground. Thank you for all the good times.
Nice campground nestled in the trees. Grounds are well maintained and offers full hook ups. Lots of activities for kids if you need that: playground, fishing pond, nice pool and more. Staff was friendly and attentive, one lady really knows her stuff and can help you park your rig like a pro. Give your wife a break from ground guiding and ask for Kristin to give you a hand. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
The campground is run by a family that truly want to make your stay feel like home. The activities are fun and the grounds are well kept. We met some seasonal campers who were very friendly and welcoming. The entrance is tricky so if you have a bigger rig make sure to follow the directions on their website.
Staying here for work for my husband. We’ve had an excellent experience. Nice sites, people and amenities. The playground is great. My 5 year old had camped all over including places with water parks and Disney world and says this is her favorite campground she’s ever been too! Owners are very nice as well!
We just finished up a weekend at Dogwood Acres. It quickly became one of my husband’s favorite campgrounds. Super quiet even though there were lots of kids. Nice, big playground. Plenty of weekend activities. (Wagon ride, candy bingo, decorating cupcakes, tie dye). We already reserved for next year. Big, clean pool with plenty of chairs. Good, hand dipped ice cream was a hit.
We didn't stay but they allowed us to purchase propane and they treat you like family my wife n I will definitely be coming to stay soon they have a cute little store its very nice
We stopped here for an overnight while traveling back home to NY! The owners and staff were very accommodating and let us to our site which had everything we needed full hook up and pretty flowers as well! We will be back again when the weather warms up a bit! Thanks Mike and Stacey Lia
