Customer Reviews
Great campground! Nicest people own this place. They know the area and gave us suggestions and recommendations on things we needed. Grounds are kept up and it is very quiet. We had great wifi and cell service. We travel all around and this place lands in the top 5 campgrounds we have been at! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
We stayed at the campground during a baseball tournament in Swansboro. The campground is located close to several major attractions, including Fort Macon State Park. Shawn and Lisa Parks, the owners and operators, provide outstanding service. We look forward to our next visit.
Great new RV park with wonderful management. We had an electrical issue and they helped us out after hours and checked on us again the next morning. Park is well maintained and new additions with be coming as they finish building it out.
I really can't say enough about this lovely little campground or its owners who are now more like family. We were planning to have a short little 1-2 month extended stay but due to circumstances beyond our control that stay changed to a much longer stay of 8 months. I can honestly say through at the end of our stay it felt like home and we hated to leave. There are so many things we miss about the Campground. The kids miss Ms Lisa and Mr Shawn the most! but the playground and sand mountain are also very much missed. My husband and I miss the peace and calm we felt any time we were at the campground as well as the security. It was great to feel safe enough to leave our doors unlocked during the day, let the kids play outside and wave to neighbors knowing everything was fine. The numerous cameras surrounding the property only made us feel that much better. The kids loved fishing in the pond and taking walks, watching the fountain at night and just waving (and talking) to EVERYONE that passed. It truly is a wonderful campground but more that that it was a wonderful experience all around. If you want a Campground with ALL the bells and whistles this may not be what you're looking for. (Though it is truly close to everything but far enough away that you can feel the deep breath and relaxation of getting away from everything.) If however you are looking for a truly calming, relaxing, safe, friendly Campground where you can feel at home and recover from the bells and whistles and hustle and bustle of life without having to go out into the middle of nowhere or give up the conveniences of life and access to all the necessary places around, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. Whether for a day or two or for several months, just you or the whole family - give it a try and check it out. You won't be disappointed and your heart will leave full.
Quaint and exceptionally clean park. Have stayed here short term and long term, and would recommend to anyone. Lisa and Shawn are great host.
