Went there for a holiday supper with colleagues. There were numerous appetizers, foie gras, dumplings, terrine, warm bread and soup. You can bring your own wine. There were 2 choices for the main course ; chicken or veal cheek. I had the veal, it was really amazing. For dessert there was a maple mousse that was exceptional and a platter of chocolate fudge in spoons. Very well presented, you have to expect to be there for about 4 hours. The old stone house is a perfect setting for such a great food lover’s feast. Well done and for a reasonable price !
We went for a large family meal. The place was nice and the staff was friendly. The food was fresh but most of it tasted awful in my opinion. I mostly hate the hard bread. The pastry with cheese was not good, the soup with that little horrible round bread, the paté de foie gras was also not for me and the main course was covered in the horrible sauce. The cost was too high for eating mostly bread.
We had a wonderful 7 course meal to celebrate a family wedding anniversary. Each course was delicious, the service that we received from the hostess and the chef was impeccable, and it was all in the beautiful room reminiscent of an old farmhouse. Between the courses, we had time to wander the grounds and have a look at the animals that they raise for use in the kitchen, and the kids had plenty of space to run around and play. I would definitely return, and I'm already looking for an opportunity to do so.
It's a really nice place to have a party with a lot of people because they have 2 room for groups and a room for small group and couples. The place is beautiful ! They kept a lot of object and decoration from early 20th century. The dishes was amazing and i like it that the meat come from the animal they have there.
A nice way to have a relaxing meal with friends or family. Be prepared for a well spaced out meal over a few hours. Ambience was nice and comfortable.
