- Amenity Limitations: Weak Wi-Fi and limited cable channels are noted.
- Distance to Shopping: The park is about 5 miles from grocery stores and other shopping.
Guest reviews offer mixed feedback. While the park is praised for its cleanliness, affordability, and friendly atmosphere, there are significant concerns about site tightness and amenity limitations. Dorset RV Park is suitable for a quick overnight stay or a budget-friendly option, but potential guests should be aware of the reported challenges.

Customer Reviews
This RV park accepts dogs- must always be leashed, tethered, or in an enclosure. Very reasonable priced- $50 a night for 38 ft RV on a holiday weekend, and they had spots open on short notice. The bad news- where to begin. Park is very small, sites are TIGHT and very difficult to back in, Large, tall trees everywhere making turns nearly impossible. Weak wifi signal drops internet constantly. Less than 10 watchable cable channels and nothing good. SOME site hook ups on wrong side or wrong size sewage drain. 30 amp service unreliable. Pops breakers running ac or plug in 110 appliances. Quiet hours not enforced. Fire ring cooking grates rusted and twisted. We couldn't open our awning due to tree close to parking for RV. Park is about 5 miles from shopping like groceries, etc. General store well stocked. Firewood reasonable. Clean and tidy Park. Good for a quick emergency overnight or cheap place to stay. $50 a night for full hook ups on holiday weekend.
Very clean and neat. One of the cleanest campgrounds we have been. A friendly atmosphere! A gorgeous view too. A definite gem!
We had a great time staying at the RV park and loved how close it was to the quarry. We were able to charge our electric vehicle at the 30Amp RV site we got for the night! Everyone was really friendly and the Saturday bonfire was fun!
Had a great stay. Forgot my tent and the very nice girl working the front moved our site so I was able to stay in my truck. She even offered a tent she had . Place was quiet. They had a bonfire at night with some fireworks. The sites are a little close but for the price it can't be beat. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Showers were hot and powerful. Easy walk almost accross the street from a old marble quarry that you can swim in the Chrystal clear blue waters. Def will be back again to try the cabins. I would recommend this place.
Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to go back. We spent 20 nights there, and I would have been happy to spend another 100! Lovely people - campers and staff. Laurie, Nanci, and Debbie were all top notch. We made many friends while we were there. Camp store has many goodies and necessities. There are a few chickens on site, and each day freshly laid eggs are available to campers at no cost. Chickens are adorable (although I didn’t always think so until I got to spend time with them). Now I want chickens of my own. Sites and roads are gravel. Bon fires on Saturday nights, and I think it’s Sunday that they have coffee and donuts. In walking distance to swim at the quarry or hike and bike the Dorset trails - all of which are a must. Short drive to historic downtown Manchester and Emerald Lake. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!!!
One of our top favorite campsites in the area and all over Vermont! We always tent and cook gourmet. Appreciate the water, quiet, and the neat facilities. We love the store/front desk and got to buy one of Sharon’s artworks, a local artist. Didn’t try the cabins.
