Double JJ Resort

Bottom line up front! We had a great time overall! A few things need work. The Suite was fantastic, however the fireplace didn't work, the TV remote batteries were dead and several light bulbs didn't work. The water park, horseback rides and the Curly Horse restaurant and waiting staff were all amazing! Underground heated parking was great too as it snowed the day we arrived. We are scheduled already to go back as there are so many other things we didn't get to do. Thanks for an amazing time!

Such a fun time! We did glow in the dark put out and hours back riding. The Curly Horse restaurant was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. A special shoutout to our server, Ryan, who made the experience even better. He was so personable and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience!

I took my family to Double JJ for a Christmas weekend. We stayed in four of the larger cabins! Two were amazing! Contrary to some of the reviews, they were clean.. beautifully decorated, updated and fully stocked! The water is a bit stinky.. but well water is.. I did have some pretty significant problems with one of the cabins, but I understand they’re updating them in the spring. The front desk supervisor and manager were rude and uncaring, which prompted me to contact someone above. That individual was a class act, very friendly, apologetic and she went above and beyond to clear things up. Hopefully others will learn from her. The Curley House restaurant? Phenomenal! The food, service, organization and management were all that I had hoped for! Accommodating a large group on a holiday weekend is difficult, but there was literally no wait! The mini golf and the water park were super fun! Everything was working properly and clean. I’m giving it a 4 star, because of the front desk. Other than that? We plan to return.

First time here with the family. Very happy with the decision. Water park and sledding staff was great. Restaurant food and staff was great. Put the kids to bed and came down to watch the WK 18 football game and Jamie & Michelle S was phenomenal. The BEST bartenders and staff I’ve felt with any any resort in Michigan! Make sure you keep these two ladies on your team FOREVER and treat them well! Nice job Double JJ’s management! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family and I booked the New Years splash package and stayed in a condo for two nights. Overall, the experience was great! Condo was clean and well kept and had a full kitchen so we could do cooking while we were there. Only downside was limited silverware and limited things needed for oven use etc that we ended up needing and had to go to store for. The main building of the waterpark, arcade, mini golf was very clean and well taken care of. All staff we came in contact with were very nice and accommodating. The waterpark area was big had some slides and lazy river. It’s a tad outdated but overall we had a lot of fun. Overall I give the a 8/10 in my book. I would definitely consider staying here again and I do feel it’s worth the chance. I know some other reviews aren’t great but we had a great time. Typical wear and tear and some what short staffed but I did over hear a waitress saying that management will be putting some money into everything in the future. When you look at other resorts, Double JJ has a lot to offer at what I feel a good price. If management keeps up with things and makes some improvements this resort has the potential to be one of the best in the state.
