The people here are amazing, really make you feel like you are part of the family, from the owners, the people that work there and the long time camper people. Ended up staying 4 weeks, so much to see in the area and a perfect place to stay while you enjoy all the natural beauty from Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock and so much more. The restaurant, only complaint is we wish it was open more than Fri- Sun, food is amazing and great prices.
Despite being out of place as a solo camper not having a horse with me, I felt so welcomed and comfortable here! Everyone was so nice, especially the man who checked me in. I was the only one in the tent area but was close to the main building and never felt unsafe or isolated. Cell service was very spotty but the main building had wifi. I believe the camping fee was cash only. Overall was really glad I stopped here.
Love this place, awesome owners, awesome restaurant/bar and awesome trails❣️ Stalls are excellent, easy pull in and out for big rigs, some sites have nice shade, 15, 16, 17. Nice shower house, electric and water w/ dump station.
Double M is an amazing campground to stay at and is very close to so many attractions. They have a restaurant and bar on site and man is there food good. The owners are some of the nicest campground owners we have come across in our travels. The campground as a whole is clean and animal friendly. We look forward to staying here again soon.
Really regret not stopping the last time I was thru here. Hamburger Steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, Homemade Potato Salad, Thunder and Lightning (cucumbers, onions, tomatoes) and Seasoned Texas Toast.
