Our stay at Double T Catwalk Resort was very nice! We had a large group and having multiple rooms per booking was very convenient! The whole place was very clean! The price was great and I'd rather stay here than a hotel/motel any day! Will certainly book again in the near future!
So good it's hilarious. We stayed in Polly's Hacienda, the original house from the late 1800s, and it's the perfect blend of old and new -- a fully-stocked modern kitchen and nice beds, but all sorts of original touches that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The area is absolutely gorgeous, of course. And there's even a great playground across the street for the little ones. Can't recommend this place enough.
If you need a good nights sleep this is the place. The beds were so comfortable and the place so quiet. I can't believe how well rested I am after this weekend getaway. Everything about this place was so perfect. Check in and out was easy. The little things like a handwritten personal message made us feel so welcome. We are already planning to bring the kids and grandkids sometime soon.
Nice clean lodging in a great location. Very quiet. Room was very small, especially since it had both a queen and double bed. A nice patio made up for the lack of space. We ate dinner and breakfast on the patio. We brought our own food for dinner and breakfast. On the day we stayed the few local restaurants were closed. There is a community park across the street, perfect for taking children to stretch their legs or walking a dog. The awesome Catwalk recreation trail is a few miles down the street. I also saw a sign for a forest trail located 1/2 mile across the street from the lodging. The host was very communicative with regular emails before our stay. The host also provided a phone number for a local contact if we needed anything.
Exactly as expected and then some! The cabin was immaculately clean, comfortable bed, with a heater that kept us toasty warm! Loved all the extra touches like the string lights on the porch and propane fire pit with chairs. My husband and I had a lovely Christmas Eve by the fire then a warm comfy bed to wake up to a beautiful sunrise on Christmas morning. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, and highly recommend!! (A/C also available but we didnt need it).
