Good overall hotel but of course would have been nice to have the pool and hot tub working, but we knew they weren't available due to renovations ahead of our stay. Otherwise the hotel could use a bigger social area (especially for sports teams) and the room fridges don't seem to function well (my guess is that these fridges shouldn't be enclosed like they are as they can't ventilate in these enclosures, or at least they need an opening in the rear of the enclosure).

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and I don't recommend it. It was late when I got ready for bed, and while trying to adjust and choose a pillow to my preference, I found men's hair all over my pillow. I was with my husband, but I’m sure it wasn’t his, because I was the first one to get there, and he hadn’t slept or even sat on the bed at all before this. I was both surprised and disgusted, but since we didn’t have another option, we stayed (we searched, and apparently, this was the best option available at the time). The hotel looks old, and I’m afraid it doesn’t have proper maintenance. It's a shame, because it’s part of a nice chain of hotels. I don’t know what caused this incident, but it was certainly a very unpleasant experience for me. I would not return to this location unless absolutely necessary, as it was this time.

The staff was so good. We arrived a little early so they offered a different room. We said we could wait. The room was amazing the best was Double Tree has nice beds ecpecilly the bedding it actually tuckes in even after you snuggle in. The toilet paper dispenser could be better located then to reach way around behind you. We could not figure out how to make the room temperature higher. The staff brought us a nice BIG COMFEE VERY COMFORTABLE

They were always available to answer questions and provide assistance with a friendly and professional attitude. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. It made exploring the city a breeze. Overall, my experience at the DoubleTree Hotel was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable stay with outstanding service. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!
