We are just here for one night. Dana is such a great host. Customer service was fantastic. They even let us switch spots. Sites are very spacious. Most have space for your vehicle parallel to your rv. I wish we had time to spend several days here discovering the beautiful area. Next time (this is my second) this will be my destination. Thanks Dana
Nice KOA just outside of town. It was perfect for our one night stay while traveling through. Site E1 was a convenient pull through with a great view. Enjoyed the sweet mountain air and view of antelope just off in distance.
I stopped here on a road trip to take a shower, and first the service was top notch and very welcoming. Secondly, the restrooms and showers were immaculate. Any by immaculate, I mean there was no gunk in the corners, no hardwater stains, no rust, no spiderwebs in the corners - the place was simply spotless.
A huge shout out to the staff at the Douglas KOA Journey and one of their monthly customers. Sorry I don't have names, but thank you so much. Their concern and help fixing a problem we had with our RV. saved the day. My wife and I had pulled up to the office, signed in and were getting ready to be escorted to our site. A customer pulled up and pointed out there was something hanging down under the RV. Thank you so much for seeing the issue and letting us know. It was our propane tank, 3 of the 4 bolts that secure had sheared off. One of the ladies contacted the maintenance manager and he immediately came and we reviewed what to do. He then went and got fasteners to reattach the tank and a jack to lift the tank. With the help of other maintenance staff we lifted and centered the tank bolt holes,.The manager crawled under the coach and installed and tightened the fasteners. We cannot thank you folks enough for your concern and assistance. With all your help the problem was fixed in no time. Thank you so so much. It goes without saying that we will stop here whenever we are in the area and highly recommend this campground to all. Thanks again and God bless. John and Nickie Moat
Nice place to stay! We got stuck here for wind but they recommended the pioneer museum and the P.O.W. camp. Very nice hosts and a good easy spot to stay with pull through spots
