I needed a two night, last minute reservation at a place that was dog friendly. The manager Kelly was so easy to work with. She actually called me about two hours before my anticipated arrival to tell me that we would be escorted to our site...even though we were arriving after the office closed. Such a fabulous touch. Our site was perfect for us. It was neat and tidy. (No dog poo anywhere to be seen) The bath house was clean and smelled perfectly fresh. The garbage dumpsters were easily accessible and not over flowing like some parks. The park was quiet. We were probably the loudest people there because we had company come see us. We respectfully shut our party down at 10pm as per the info sheet, indicating quiet hours start at 10pm. The location is super convenient off I10, about 1/2 mile off the exit. A Walmart and several restaurants are less than a mile away. We would stay here again.
Dove Rest RV Park is a great place to stay, whether you are just passing through or want to be in the area for a while. We stopped overnight on our way back home to AZ, but would have been comfortable staying longer. Our site was level & priced very reasonably. Mariannna is a nice little city in Jackson County, FL with plenty of restaurants just 5 minutes from the RV Park & everything else that you may need during your stay at Dove Rest. We travel to FL yearly & will put this RV park on our list of good places to stay. Ignore any negative Google reviews. They are clearly NOT accurate. We will definitely be back & highly recommend Dove Rest RV Park!
Good for overnight (we paid $42). All sites appear to be pull through with FHU. The pads are not full concrete but concrete tire lanes, camp host guides you in. Some seasonal but the seem to be back away from front sites. We'd stay again.
Garbage! This place is complete garbage. Infested with crime and drug addicts wondering around everywhere. It's a shame the camp hosts can't get it together. I mentioned the zombies walking the park amd she said "we tried to keep them out with the fence but once we realized we can't stop them we welcomed them as long as they didn't cause problems and and get us in trouble. What? I found rigs in the bathroom. Total waste of a space. Good luck and pay attention. You sure don't pay your employees.
Nice park located off I10. Staff was super friendly and site worked out great. Great place to stop when traveling on I-10. Definitely will stay there again.
