Great place to camp in an RV or tent. It’s very new and the grass is still coming in so many sites are dirt with a few weeds. The back in sites are longer than the pull through sites. There is an area for campers with pets which is separate from no pet area. The check in needs a lot of improvements. Currently, the sign says to check in at the store/gas station in the front but the clerk had no idea how to do it and told us to do it online. All RV sites have full hook ups. The tent sites had water and electricity (and were just adorable). The price was $45 per night and well worth it. Easy to find location near Sister Bay.
Clean showers/bathrooms, solid internet, nice location. Gas station is really pricey, but that's par for the course in northern Door Country. The only thing I would change is adding some garbage cans around the site. They ask you to set your trash out and one of the staff will pick it up, but often the birds will tear the bags open and spread the trash all over. Overall I really like this place.
Lovely campground close to Sister Bay. There is a restaurant onsite which is very good. The store at the front has everything you might need. The check-in process was friendly and efficient. Our site was good. They separate out the pet part from the non pet part so no barking if you choose not to be near dogs. The bathrooms and showers were good. We stayed 3 nights. The price was appropriate for the area. The wife was also strong for us. We enjoyed our stay and would return without hesitation.
Great campground with many options for various size RVs, trailers, and tents. Each RV site has power, water, and sewer hookup. Each site also has a picnic table, grill and firepit. Wifi service worked great. Area shuttle makes a stop out front or it's a quick bike ride into Sister Bay. Great having an onsite restaurant & bar along with a store for forgotten items or other local foods (Marchants meats and sausages)
Nice, peaceful, clean. Close to attractions. Wifi and full set ups makes it convenient. Not much for kids to do there. Feels more geared for older campers.
