Wonderful place to stay! Many quality fish, but they're well educated and tough to fool.
I went to visit family that was there for a premium experience and they were still on that experience when I arrived. I and my dog waited on the porch for them to return. I was told that dogs were not allowed on the porch, the grass, near the fire pit. That is fine but here are the problems: there were two mouse traps on the floor in the kitchen(-2 stars) there was no posted sign and express instructions were not provided in the description that absolutely no dogs were allowed on the property(-2 stars). The owner can do what she wants but no one is going to intuit her extreme preferences when the wood wrapped house is designed for people that wade around in rivers and gut fish, dogs are usually a part of that group and people need to plan ahead. I wasn't staying there but had no way of knowing from what the owner posted in reality and digitally, further, I asked around town since I had no where to be and people had some strong😬 feelings about her.
Great spot to spend a weekend with friends and go fishing. Close to all the spots and town. Situated right on the river so beautiful setting with fire pit for each cabin. Will return! Hopefully they’ll put in an EV charger or even just 220V outlets at cabins or main office for guest use.
After a wonderful experience last season we booked 5 weekends this year. Beautiful setting, private, beautiful water and atmosphere. The cabins are immaculate and the staff, caretakers as well as the owners make you feel like family. Very family friendly. Fishing is awesome and you meet wonderful people on the river. Sad to see the season end for us. Looking for to next year.
Nice accommodations, fly shop has all the essentials along with beautiful locally tied flies. Staff is extremely nice. Beautiful pool a few steps from cabins.
