Customer Reviews
Dreamcatcher Campground was the perfect spot for our relaxing getaway. We rented a space to tent camp, and the site was clean, cozy, and had such a charming vibe—it really felt like a little escape into nature. It was so quiet and peaceful, and being close to the lakes made it great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and the views were picture perfect. I was also happy to find solid cell phone service, which made it easy to stay connected when I needed to. If you forget anything, no worries—it’s just a short drive to some cute shops and stores. Plus, it was perfect for the kids. They loved riding their bikes around the campground, which felt safe and spacious. Overall, it was a great spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy some time away.
Such a great find! We usually camp near Truckee for my daughter's birthday, but we wanted to try something different this year, and I'm so glad we did!! The campground looks like it's undergone a lot of renovations recently, and there are more underway - newly refreshed picnic tables and communal space. The bathrooms were nice and clean (they even have showers!!!) The location is super close to a ton of gorgeous lakes and great hiking spots. There are also a few golf courses nearby. We were only there for two nights, but our next visit will likely be longer since we didn't get to visit as many of the lakes as I would've liked. Definitely a hidden gem!
This place looks amazing, but I have never received a call or an email back about needing to cancel my reservation a couple of weeks ago. I paid a deposit and sent an email well within the cancellation period and have never had a response returned. I’ve left two voice messages and one email prior to my date of arrival. I’ve called about a half dozen times and my call has only ever gone to voicemail.
Great Campground. Close to golf, fishing, lakes basin, brewing lair. Super fun and nice owners who take good care of the sites. Will be coming back
Horrible!! We booked our spot well in advance and when we arrived they gave our spot to a small trailer. We have a 32 foot RV and there was no large spots. They said they would comp us the one night which they never did. They kept our deposit. Very unprofessional!! Now they've almost tripled there fees. What a joke!!
