Found this Boondocking gem, on an old phone app called Ultimate Campgrounds. It is in a beautiful forest. There are remnants of stuff from bygone days, reclaimed by the forest. (maybe an old CCC camp). I certainly do not think the junkies and addicts have found this place (it is too far from paradises such as Frisco, and LA). I guess it is possible for someone to find a syringe out here, as a one off. But I didn't see anything that didn't belong, in a forest campground. I can't believe it is an endemic issue.
Easy and quick pull in spot in old camp complex. Has some open parking nearby for long RVs. It was clean last time we stopped.
Very close off of HWY 395. No amenities,so be prepared for that.
Don't stop here to camp, it's dangerous and I've found many used syringes, step on one and you're dead
Stumbled across this place and love it!
