Small, (6-8 sites maybe) rustic, free, campground with fire pits and picnic tables. Pit toilets and dumpster on site. Lots of hiking trails (with horses). Dogs on leash welcome.
I went just for camping, but looks like a great place to trailer in horses and go for a trail ride. Beautiful location. Fire pits and picnic tables at every campsite. $5 per night for camping is a small fee compared to how nice it is. Only downside was the door to the pit toilet wasn't sitting in the frame correctly anymore and couldn't be locked, but that seems like an easy fix the next time maintenance comes by there.
Awesome place to get away .. nice peace full stuff ol tables grill could use some gravel but can't complain for free not too many places I like this so you'll have to come out and camp here on a weekend 😁 got water restroom
Great trails with great US Foresters helping to take care of it
If the dates in the website say not available.... after December 1st. Means the gate is closed and locked . Bet it's a nice place other wise. Maybe try another time
